Spexcycle, closed-loop recycling for glasses

Spexcycle is an initiative run by a few friends of mine, it’s the first closed-loop recycling program for glasses in Australia, transforming waste into resources. They also have a manufacturing facility in Sydney’s Inner West that creates new frames from old ones.

I have a Spexcycle collection bin at my practice, so feel free to bring your old glasses along whenever you’re in for an appointment, or just drop by.

Lions Recycle for Sight

The Lions Club runs a well-established glasses recycling program. Find your local Lions Club to see if they have a collection point near you, or send your glasses directly:
