A dedicated 30-minute appointment to get you or your child fitted properly, not rushed.
Certain eyewear and specialty lenses need extra knowledge and skill to get right, so that you or your child end up with glasses that are actually comfortable and working well. This is particularly useful if you're looking at myopia control glasses like MiyoSmart or Stellest, need high-resolution lenses for a high prescription, or want well-fitting multifocal or progressive spectacles.
You'll need a current, valid spectacle prescription for this appointment. If you don't have one, please book a comprehensive eye exam first.
MiyoSmart or Stellest myopia control spectacles
If your child's ophthalmologist or optometrist has recommended MiyoSmart or Stellest lenses, getting them fitted to a frame that sits in a stable position is essential. Options come with a 2-year unconditional warranty (except if lost). If you already have a prescription and just need the glasses organised, book a fitting appointment directly.
Tokai 1.76 super-high-index lenses for high prescriptions
If you have a high spectacle prescription, the accuracy of your lenses makes a real difference to your vision, and frame size, fit, and shape all affect how heavy and thick the final glasses feel. My brother's prescription is -9.00, and I've had quite a few patients and friends around the -11 to -15 mark who've genuinely struggled to find glasses that fit well and still look great. I order Tokai lenses, a premium Japanese lens range with fine-edge-thinning options for high prescription ranges, alongside 1.74 index blended lenticular lenses for a more aesthetic result.
Ziena, 7Eye, or EyeEco dry eye eyewear
If windy weather or air conditioning affects your eye comfort, this eyewear is designed for dry eye, but needs to be fitted properly to actually work. Ziena's Moisture Chamber Technology uses a magnetic silicone gasket that seals gently around your eyes, available in frost or black, and 7Eye's AirShield collection pairs a similar seal with a fast-drying fabric lining so sweat and humidity don't linger against your skin. EyeEco's TranquilEyes range is a lighter, more affordable option in the same category. If you have Sjögren's Syndrome or another condition that causes chronic dry eye, this eyewear is worth trying alongside your other treatment.
