  • Book an appointment (online via Halaxy, email, or WhatsApp)
  • Complete a patient intake form
  • Attend an eye examination or consultation
  • Contact us by email, SMS, or WhatsApp

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide optometric services and clinical care
  • Process Medicare and health fund claims
  • Communicate appointment reminders and clinical updates
  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations (including AHPRA requirements)
  • Refer you to other health professionals where clinically appropriate

5. Disclosure of Information

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may disclose information to:

  • Other treating health professionals (with your consent)
  • Medicare Australia and your private health fund (for billing)
  • Our practice management software provider (Halaxy), subject to their privacy policy
  • Law enforcement or regulatory bodies where required by law

6. Health Records Retention

Patient health records are retained for a minimum of 7 years from the date of last consultation (or until the patient's 25th birthday if they were a minor at time of consultation), in accordance with NSW Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. Electronic records are stored in Halaxy, a cloud-based practice management system with Australian data hosting and encryption in transit and at rest.
